The Chariot is the Arcanum of Material Triumph. Since the Nephilim are imprisoned in the material, then they must use the material to escape. All matter is potentially useful in building the proper vehicles to travel to Agartha, whether human bodies, Atlantean machines, or modern technology. The Chariot is optimistic; it does not feel confined, but challenged. The Chariot is destined to be victorious over matter. Once the material is conquered, then Agartha can be achieved.
For the Chariot, Incarnation is no different from picking up any other tool; the difference being that this tool cannot be set back down or replaced as simply as a hammer. The simulacrum, whether male or female, is maintained in close to perfect condition. A strict healthy diet, a regimen of exercise and vitamin supplements, and regular medical examinations are used to keep the bodily machine in perfect working order. Between this physical maintenance and his Higher Work, the Simulacrum’s social relationships inevitably suffer. The Chariot tends to be cold and distant to anyone not helping his understanding of the material. The Chariot prefer to Incarnate into scientists or great thinkers.
The Chariot’s interaction with the mundane is of two kinds. Some prefer to work alone, maintaining private laboratories or associate with one that they help to fund or direct, or try to develop a small community of thinkers to help push forward scientific advancement. Others take a grander approach and try to manipulate human societies into an interest of hard science. The members of the Chariot often find themselves in conflict with the Empress, which seeks to move human cultural evolution in a more mystical direction.
